The couple has been facing numerous challenges ever since their arrest for money laundering and corruption, which led them to flee the country and seek refuge in Malawi. However, their difficulties continued to mount.
Their daughter, Israella, fell ill and was taken to Nairobi, Kenya for medical treatment.
Initially, there were obstacles preventing her from leaving the country, but eventually, she was granted permission to travel.
Tragically, the young girl, just 8 years old, lost her life in Kenya due to a severe lung infection.
Her passing was announced by her father on Monday.
Following Israella’s death, Mary Bushiri had remained silent, leaving her husband to speak about their daughter’s untimely demise. However, during the funeral proceedings held recently, Mary finally broke her silence and expressed her profound grief over the loss of her beloved daughter.
On Facebook, she shared a poignant and heartbreaking message, leaving many of their followers in tears.
