A mother, Amina Mavuka, 31, and her two children aged 10 and 5 were found dead in their rented room in Ivory Park’s Tokyo section near Tembisa ( Gauteng Province )

It appears she had fed her children yoghurt laced with rat poison and then ate the poison herself.

Amina Mavuka, 31, had shown no signs of depression and her two children appeared happy and content however two suicide notes were found in their rented room in Ivory Park’s Tokyo section near Tembisa.

To her ex-husband, the father of both children, she wrote: “My death and the death of my two children are in your hands. You are responsible .

To her family, she wrote: “I am sorry. I had to do this. But I am tired of life.”
She wrote that she was tired of fights with her ex-husband.
