‘Nompumelelo was robbed’: SA drags Miss SA pageant. South Africans took to social media on Saturday evening to criticise Miss SA pageant for not crowning Nompumelelo Maduna as the 2024 winner.

Not all South Africans celebrated the new Miss SA 2024, Mia le Roux on Saturday, 10 August evening.

As some South Africans felt that Soweto’s Nompumelelo Maduna should have won.

‘NOMPUMELELO MADUNA WAS ROBBED’

Fans of the Miss SA 2024 runner-up, Nompumelelo Maduna took to social media to criticise the pageant.

Maduna’s fan @hazalfalconn wrote on X: “Mia is great, but Nompumelelo was supposed to win, she was robbed.”

Maduna’s fans also revealed that her performance on Crown Chasers was inevitably excellent as she’d been slaying challenges on the show and was in the top three for almost three weeks in a row.

The 28-year-old fan-favourite beauty queen also made it to the top five in the Miss SA 2019 pageant.
