‘Skeem Saam’ stars Cornet Mamabolo backs EFF. The former The River actor Cornet Mamabolo took to his Twitter account on Saturday, 29 July to share images of himself and his former Skeem Saam co-star Clement Maosa with EFF leaders.
EFF leader Julius Malema effectively kicked off the party’s 2024 elections campaign at its 10th-anniversary bash, vowing that the Red Berets would unseat the ANC. The party’s support stands at 10.8% based on the previous national elections.
Malema has become a subject of social media debate for chanting ‘Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer’ after concluding his speech.
The video from the event has gone viral on social media and got the attention of Elon Musk, who accused Malema of promoting the killing of white people in South Africa and tagged President Cyril Ramaphosa, asking why he isn’t doing anything about it.
