Singer Bucie dumped by her husband. South African musician Busi­siwe ‘Bucie’ Qwiliso is reportedly separated from her husband who filed for a divorce.

According to Sunday World, the singer was dumped by her husband, Lucky Nhlanhla Nkomo because she no longer turns him on.

It was further revealed that the husband is irked as she listens to her friends instead of him.

The singer is yet to make a public statement about this report, however, she’s channeled her focus and passion to music.

Weeks ago, Bucie opened up on her return to music and her record label.

“Music is my life, so it naturally takes up most of my time. However, I’ve also been focusing on my record label, Bucie Pty Ltd, and planning to grow my business to support emerging artists. Additionally, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and exploring new creative ventures,” she said.

GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE ALLEGATIONS

In 2019, Bucie and her husband made headlines after he reportedly assaulted her.

At the time, Bucie reported a case of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) at the Honeydew Police Station, saying Nkomo assaulted her after grabbing her phone and going through it.

“He came to the other bedroom and grabbed her cellphone from her hand. He went through her cellphone and then went out of the bedroom. She followed him and asked for her cellphone. He then slapped her on the face and she pushed him down the stairs.

“He came back and continued to assault her with an open hand.
