Thabo Bester wears Louis Vuitton, Nandipha rocks new hair

Thabo Bester and his co-accused Nandipha Magudumana. In fact, the pair seem to have had a “glow up” behind bars. Judging from their court appearance, it’s clear prison has not affected their glamorous lives.

He might be a convicted criminal, but Thabo Bester has clearly decided that orange is not his colour as he continues to appear virtually in court in designer labels.

Court Case

Bester, and his alleged girlfriend and accomplice, Dr Nandipha Magudumana, who is also quite a fashionable prisoner.

Appeared alongside seven other suspects in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

Collectively, the group faces charges ranging from assisting a convicted criminal to escape from custody to tampering with a corpse, fraud, and defeating the ends of justice.

The accused will appear again in court on 8 August, pending further investigation.

Although appearing in two separate courtrooms, both Thabo Bester and Nandipha made a stylish entrance.

Nandipha Case

Nandipha is currently remanded in custody at the Kroonstad female prison.

Speaking to Thando Thabethe on 947 last month, Correctional Services Singabakho Nxumalo said: “In our facilities, both male and female, we have salons where they are taught different skills.

“In those salons, they are taught hairdressing, nails and other things. They can take advantage of that facility, it is allowed”Nxumalo said convicts and those awaiting trial have to pay for the service, which is done using a special cash-less system.
