“When I turned 40, I realised my family was only using me for money. All I ever did was give, give, give… and I never received anything in return. No phone calls just checking in. No messages saying ‘How are you?’ The only conversations I had with them were about what I could do for them. I had to cut. And honestly, even my kids said it was about time.”
