According to SowetanLIVE, the actress, who debuted in 2004, shared during an interview that being an actress was never her first choice. She was studying for an accounting degree when a friend introduced her to a modelling agency, which led to her role as Sharon in Generations.
“I was a BCom accounting student when a friend encouraged me to join a modeling agency. That decision changed my life. Within three days, I landed a role as a background actor on Generations. From there, I was given a script and, after competing with ten other actresses, I officially secured the part of Sharon,” she said.
