South African Father Mourns Death Of His Son. Melusi Ntuli, a Radiation Therapist, is grappling with unimaginable grief after his two-year-old son was tragically strangled to death by his own mother.

Ntuli took to social media, pouring his heart out about the brutal murder of his beloved child.

The incident took place at the mother’s residence in Dobsonville Gardens, Soweto. Ntuli shared the heart-wrenching details, revealing that his son was strangled inside a car in the yard while the mother played loud music. Shockingly, after committing the heinous act, she left the lifeless child in the car and turned herself in at the local police station.

In his anguished Facebook post, Ntuli expressed his disbelief and despair, questioning why his son had to suffer such a cruel fate. He also pondered the role he played in the tragedy, wondering if his commitment as a responsible father had somehow contributed to this devastating outcome.

Ntuli agonized over the possibility that things may have turned out differently had he abandoned his responsibilities as a father. The pain and confusion he felt were evident in his emotional words.

Confirming the incident, Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo stated that a 30-year-old woman had voluntarily surrendered herself to the police in Doornkop after allegedly murdering her two-year-old child on 14 October, 2023.The motive behind the tragic killing remains unclear at this stage, leaving many questions unanswered.
