In a TikTok video shared by the woman herself under the handle @banjolatino12, she explained how she, along with her man, enjoyed a meal at a restaurant, only t,o discover at the end that the bill totalled R1,020 but her boyfriend had only brought R400.
According to her, the incident which took place in Cape Town, South Africa, left them in an awkward position as they could not settle the full amount. She recalled the shock and embarrassment when the waiter presented the bill, and her boyfriend realised that he was more than R600 short.

In the clip, @banjolatino12 said her boyfriend had assumed the money he had was enough to cover the outing, without checking prices beforehand. She revealed that the restaurant’s manager stepped in and offered them an unusual but understanding solution, which was to wash dishes to make up for the shortfall
