The FAKE Doctor strikes again ‼️ A TikToker known as Dr. Matthew Lani, also identified as Sanele Zingelwa, recently addressed concerns about his medical qualifications and the absence of his degree certificate.
Dr. Matthew Lani’s name gained attention on social media when doubts were raised about his remarkable story of overcoming adversity to become a prominent health and wellness advocate.
We have taken note of a fake message supposed to be a screenshot of a conversation with a representative of the Dept. This is meant to mislead the public into thinking the bogus doctor has been cleared by the GDoH. The matter will be handed to the police for further investigation, says @gautenghealth

Dr Matthew Lani Responds to Allegations Regarding His Medical Qualifications
Dr. Matthew Lani responded to the accusations in a live TikTok session, where he explained his side of the story. During the live session, someone suggested that he produce his degree certificate and a graduation photo to put the matter to rest. Dr. Matthew Lani responded by stating that the reason Wits University couldn’t find his name in their records was because they used incorrect names when searching for him.
He clarified that proving his status as a doctor isn’t the problem; rather, it’s the way people have approached him about it. He added that the current situation has taken a toll on his mental health, affecting his ability to work.
“That’s not an issue. You know for me I’m that type of person it’s the manner of approach. I’ve been down this road before and it was just from a point of abantu just undermining me. I took this matter quite lightly. I was like, “It’s just what it is.” but then I started seeing that this is just becoming too much now unnecessarily so that it’s affecting my mental health, I can’t go to work, I can’t do anything. When I contacted the HPCSA in the morning to make them aware of this and all of that it was just a matter of ‘okay no stress. Okay. Yes’ But we will wait and see,” he said.
