Sol Phenduka slams Bongani Zungu. It was a rough day for soccer lovers on Wednesday this week after watching Mamelodi Sundowns player Bongani Zungu break TS Galaxy player Bernard Parker’s leg.
Footage of the incident have gone viral as social media users discuss Zungu’s attitude on the field after getting a red card.
One of the people who have weighed in is radio personality and popular podcaster Sol Phenduka.
The Podcast and Chill co-host took to X where he demanded to know why Zungu hasn’t at least issued a statement regarding what happened.

Parker’s stunning wife, Wendy has since shared a prayer for her husband’s recovery as seen in her Instagram post. In the post, she asks God to “bless the hands” of the people who will be operating on her injured husband.
“Please give Bernard a successful surgery so he can fully recover and continue praising you. Bless the hands of the surgeons, doctors, nurses in their work today, and please help them heal Bernard. Let us remember your words in Isaiah 41:10: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not give up,” Wendy captioned her prayer.

Bernand Parker was rushed to hospital after the recent incident and is said to have broken two bones, SowetanLIVE reported. According to the publication, his attacker, Bongani Zungu has not yet extended an apology since failing to accept his part in the accident as seen on the field on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old’s coach Sead Ramovic is said to have opened up and shared that he believes that a Sundowns coach will be in touch with an apology soon.
