A powerful and emotional video captured a man’s fiery protest against a political party that he feels failed its people. The raw footage, shared on TikTok by @beke21234, was met with an outpouring of support and agreement from social media users.

In the clip, the visibly furious man used a braai stand to burn his ANC political regalia. The items he burned included various T-shirts and what appeared to be a dress, all of which had the party’s logo. The man angrily stated that he was sick and tired of keeping anything that would remind him of the party, which he referred to as liars who only care about their stomachs and their family’s well-being

Burning all traces of the ANC He also made a comparison to the late Nelson Mandela, whom he claimed the ANC uses for their campaigns, arguing that Mandela’s family also became rich from his political influence. He further expressed his frustration that the ANC was now using the people to get rich, arguing that citizens have been used for many years and have gotten nothing in return.

The man went on to say that people campaigned for the party, walking up and down until their shoes were worn out and their cars broken, while the politicians got to live a life of luxury.
